Julian R, Woolf, PhD

In addition to his professorship with Adelphi, Dr. Julian Woolf serves as an assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a recognized research fellow and member of the North American Society of Sport Management.
His research interests include the nexus between sport and health and the ways in which sport is managed such that the positive outcomes of sport can be achieved. This involves research related to sport development, sport for development and doping policies. His research has been published in the Journal of Sport Management, Sport Management Review and other scholarly journals.
Dr. Woolf earned his PhD in Sport Management and his MEd in Exercise Physiology and Sport Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport Science from the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom.
