Online/Blended Degree and Certificate Programs

State Authorization

What is it?

Institutions offering postsecondary education through distance or correspondence education to students in a state which it is not physically located or in which it is otherwise subject to state jurisdiction as determined by the state, the institution must meet any state requirements for it to be legally offering postsecondary distance or correspondence education in that state.

At this time, we are not able to offer students in Arkansas or North Carolina the opportunity to participate in any of our fully online programs.

Please note that we are required by the various states to post the information below:

Alaska: The program is exempt from authorization under AS 14.48 and 20 AAC 17.015 because the program is online or distance delivered and does not have a physical presence in the state.

Arkansas: Adelphi may not advertise or recruit AR students unless programs are approved.
