The College of Professional and Continuing Studies (CPCS) at Adelphi has developed the life experience credit evaluation process as a way for nontraditional students to earn academic credit for knowledge and experience gained outside of a traditional classroom in the following programs:
College-level learning, military or government funded learning, and knowledge obtained through career experience, volunteer work, artistic abilities, proficiency in computers, and knowledge of foreign or sign language can be considered by the CPCS for credit that can help you complete your degree faster at and at a lesser expense.
While the life experience credit program will certainly help reduce tuition costs, they are not free.
Visit the Life Experience Credits website for specific examples. For more information about how you may qualify for life experience credits, contact an enrollment counselor at online@adelphi.edu or by phone at 888.252.4110.
