James A. Peth, PhD, MS, MPH

James is a nutrition educator with an academic background in exercise science, nutrition, physiology, biomedical sciences and public health. He is interested in the role of nutrition in preventing chronic diseases.
Additionally, James is a business owner who is always looking for market-based solutions to improving nutritious food access, healthcare and healthy environments. He has worked in the public health field developing and evaluating educational materials related to safe food production and handling.
James holds a PhD in Nutrition Sciences from Colorado State University and is currently a PhD candidate in Food Science and Human Nutrition at CSU. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Colorado School of Public Health, a Master of Science in Physiological Sciences from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Miami University.
