Daniel R. Bedard

With over 20 years of experience in sports administration and coaching, Daniel Bedard is a dedicated professor who is well-connected in the field, both in the U.S. and internationally. In addition to his teaching experience, he is a youth hockey program director, an athletic trainer, a programming and facility design consultant and the founder and president of Progressive Hockey.
His research interests include participation and enjoyment in youth sports, college and preparatory scholarships for athletes, the enjoyment of sports and the professionalism of coaching. Bedard specializes in sport management internship placements and job opportunities, and is adept at helping his students achieve their career goals.
Bedard holds a Master of Arts in Athletic Administration from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from SUNY Plattsburgh.
