Students have three opportunities to begin the online RN to BS in Nursing program each year, including Fall, Spring and Summer start dates.
The Admissions Committee reviews applications on a rolling basis and students can expect to receive an admissions decision within two weeks of submitting a completed application.
International students are not eligible for this program.
Admissions Requirements
Requirements for admission to the online RN to BS in Nursing include:
- 3.0 GPA. If your cumulative GPA is below 3.0, you may still be admitted on a case-by-case basis.
- Unrestricted RN License in the United States. Probationary admittance is possible if license is obtained within 6 months
- An AS or AA from a regionally accredited university with a minimum of 60 earned credits
- The following prerequisite courses, with a grade of C+ or better in the science prerequisites:
- Anatomy and Physiology I and II with labs
- Microbiology with labs
- Chemistry
- English composition
- Statistics
Application Materials
In order to complete the application, all candidates must submit the following:
- Completed application
- Official transcripts for all schools attended
- RN license and BLS certification. Students who are earning their RN license within 6 months of starting the program are welcome to apply.
