Students have three opportunities to begin the Online MA in Educational Technology each year: Spring, Summer or Fall.
The next start date is January 23, 2025.
The Admissions Committee reviews applications on a rolling basis. However, we recommend submitting your application no less than one month prior to your preferred start date.
Admission Requirements
Online MA in Educational Technology candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. The recommended minimum GPA is 3.0 on a four-point scale, however, strong candidates who do not meet the minimum GPA are still encouraged to apply.
Application Materials
In order to complete the application, all candidates must submit the following:
- Completed application
- Official transcripts for all schools attended. See below for more information.
- Personal statement that describes your goals in pursuing graduate study in educational technology. You may choose to reflect on your meaningful experiences with digital technology and media, your expertise and interests and how you see digital technology affecting learning now and in the future. 300 words minimum.
- Two letters of recommendation
- Current résumé or CV
- $50 application fee
No GRE is required for admission.
International Students
International students are welcome to apply.
In addition to the admission requirements and materials listed above, international students must have a minimum TOEFL score of 80.
Transcript Submission Details
All candidates must submit official undergraduate transcripts for all schools where credits were earned toward the conferred degree.
