Raymond Webb is an adjunct professor of emergency management in the College of Professional and Continuing Studies at Adelphi University, New York.
Raymond was appointed Executive Director of the Nassau County Bridge Authority, New York in December 2022. He is a former Senior Operations Executive and Regional Director of Facilities Management (seven bridges and two tunnels) at the New York State Metropolitan Transportation Authority – Bridges and Tunnels (TBTA). In his role at the MTA, he held various cumulatively responsible positions, including Superintendent of Operations, General Manager of Bridges and Regional Director of Bridges and Tunnels.
Ray has over 30 years of knowledge and experience in his public service portfolio. His vast leadership and management knowledge of regional transportation operations, public safety and security and facilities management includes construction project management, maintenance and engineering, customer service, and business and community relations. He holds an MA in Business and Public Policy from The State University of New York and Graduate Certificates in Construction Management from Pace University, a Lean Six Sigma Certificate from Purdue University and a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management from Adelphi University.
He resides with his family in Farmingdale, New York, where he enjoys volunteering, sports, jogging, kayaking, reading, writing and sharing life stories with his family and friends.
