Students have three opportunities to begin the online MS in Sport Management program each year including Fall, Spring and Summer start dates.
The next start date is January 23, 2025.
The Admissions Committee reviews applications on a rolling basis and students can expect to receive an admissions decision within two weeks of submitting a completed application. However, we recommend submitting your application as soon as possible.
Admission Requirements
Requirements for admission to the online Master of Science in Sport Management include:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution or the equivalent
- Completion of an online application and fee
Note: Students are not required to take the GRE or GMAT for admission to the program.
Application Materials
In order to complete the application, all candidates must submit the following:
- Completed application
- Official transcripts for all schools attended. See below for more information.
- Personal statement/essay describing how your interest in the program has been shaped by your academic, life and work experiences.
- Two letters of recommendation from a professional or academic source
- Professional résumé/CV is preferred
- $60 application fee
International Students
In addition to the admission requirements and materials listed above, international students must have a minimum TOEFL score of 80 or a minimum IELTS overall band score of 6.5.
Please note that admission to the online Master of Science in Sport Management program does not qualify international students for a visa.
Transcript Submission Details
All candidates must submit official undergraduate transcripts for all schools where credits were earned toward the conferred degree.
