Dr. Gregory J. Letter has over ten years of experience teaching in the field of sport. Prior to his time at Adelphi, he served as assistant professor and program director of the undergraduate sport communication and graduate sport administration programs at Mississippi State University. He also served as an assistant professor and program director of the undergraduate sport management and MBA in sport management programs at Webber International University.
Outside of higher education, Dr. Letter has experience in marketing and sporting goods retail management. He also has experience as a business owner, a health and physical education teacher and a coach. All of these roles contribute to his established, comprehensive proficiency in administration, marketing, as well as coaching and teaching, which he utilizes to help enrich his students’ academic experience.
Dr. Letter holds a PhD in Administration and Teaching with a concentration in Sport Administration and a Master of Science from the University of Southern Mississippi. He also earned a Bachelor of Science from Temple University.
