Teed is an interdisciplinary artist and an experienced educator. She is currently a doctoral student in Visual Art Education at Columbia University Teachers College and serves as the director of the award-winning arts organization, Dutchess Arts Camp.
She is a Distinguished Teacher of the Year Award recipient and a National Parents Choice Gold Award Winner.
Teed holds a BS in Art Education and an MS in Art Education and Special Education from SUNY at New Paltz.
