Aaron Chia Yuan Hung’s research interests include video games and social interaction, video games and language learning, digital literacies and gamification.
He is the author of the book The Work of Play: Meaning-making in Videogames and has authored and co-authored numerous book chapters, conference presentations and articles in academic journals including Journal of Interactive Online Learning and E-Learning and Digital Media. He is also the recipient of a high impact practice grant and a faculty development grant.
Hung earned his EdD, EdM and MA from Columbia University, and his BBA from the University of Michigan.
