Dr. Sapci specializes in evidence-based medicine, big data analytics and remote patient monitoring applications, telemedicine and connected health, as well as mobile health technologies and clinical decision support systems. He helped to start the Health Informatics Training and R&D laboratory where students get first-hand experience with robotics as it relates to healthcare informatics.
Dr. Sapci’s research interests include home telehealth and remote patient monitoring as it relates to disease management, innovative clinical research and design, clinical support systems and modeling complex medical decision making as well as health services and outcomes. He is well-published with international experience related to remote patient monitoring, telemedicine and home care.
Dr. Sapci earned his MD from the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and is a family medicine specialist with a postdoctoral degree from Numune Training and Research Hospital.
