Our online Master’s in Healthcare Informatics degree reflects the reality of the flourishing health informatics field, which includes a variety of positions and demands a diversity of skills. Open to both established health informatics and nonclinical professionals, our program offers the knowledge and industry context to help you take part in the vital role that health informatics will play in our future.

Prior experience in healthcare or information technology is not needed to qualify for Adelphi’s MS Healthcare Informatics degree. Our program is designed for working professionals who are motivated to begin, advance or change careers. No matter your experience level or background, Adelphi provides multiple layers of support, especially for those who may have been out of school for a while. We offer comprehensive student support services through our Learning Center and Writing Center, as well as one-on-one engagement opportunities with instructors.

The master’s degree in health informatics is in candidacy status, pending accreditation review by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).
